Care of the upper loop is always a big concern and this stuffer can be pushed all the way through, even going a little into the top bend. I use it after a gig or practice and feel good about putting the horn away safe from a build-up in the loop that might eventually require dis-assembly and washing out.Update: Still using/enjoying this stuffer swab.

This helped me out - I first swab the pad saver using an alcohol wipe and then run it back and forth a couple of time -- then dry it and insert it for travel. Improves sanitation and eliminates odor. I use a neck saver and mouthpiece saver also (same protocol). Takes a little longer to put up my horn, but worth it to me.

HW products are great. They're perfect for any woodwind, especially for younger players who would otherwise "forget" to dry and clean their instrument. We have them for six instruments in our house now. The company is family owned and very responsive to questions.

It is very flexible and absorbent. I tried other pad savers and none are as good as this one. I am replacing all of my swabs that never have worked as well as this.

At last a cheap and simple tool for keeping that foul stuff from collecting in my bari bow. It doesn't improve my sound, but my horn smells a lot sweeter.

It basically does what you expect. The top neck is difficult to clean and this solves that challenge.

Unfortunately I found this to be too soft and flexible without enough stiffness to go further than the first bend .
