this is an excellent jacket, and even a more excellent price. I had outgrown my old motorcycle jacket and I have been doing more adventure riding and wanted some thing with more protection and features. I am an extra large and that’s what I ordered and it fits perfect. it is warm without making me sweat since it breathes very well and it has venting to allow airflow. It has a removable liner, which is what I was looking for in an adventure jacket. For the price this is the best jacket I’ve ever bought. Prior to this purchase I had ordered a very expensive one, which was junk compared to this one. It’s also very comfortable and for me it seems like it offers enough protection where I need it.

This coat has surpassed my expatiation. At any price really. I bought this coat to just see how long it will last as I do quite a bit of off roading on my ADV motorbike. I have ruined more expensive coats because of snagging them on tree branches or ripped them due to me falling on rocks. I have not fallen but the branches don't seem to be doing any damage yet.As to sizing, it is right on from the description. It fits nice and has some adjustability. It is not vented all that much but that was what I wanted anyway. It is a coat I'll be using during my winter season. The neck doesn't scratch as do some of the more expensive ones might. It is a bit long in the torso with no zips to open so it doesn't bunch but it doesn't bunch up too much. Very manageable. Heck, I just might have a zipper installed, I have done that before for some coats that did not have one where it was needed.Took out the armor and didn't see any indicator as to what cert it might have (CE or....). But maybe I missed something. The armor is fairly thick. The back piece was curved from being shipped so it still needs to relax a little to fit right.I bought the Hi-Vis color and it is nice and bright. Time will tell, as in most coats, what or how much it will fade in the future. As to the water proofing, I haven't been caught out in the rain so can't really say it is 100%. I did get get splashed by a passing truck going in the opposite direction and stayed dry, so there's that.I'm giving it a 5 star rating because it is by far the best bang for your buck. It is comfortable and looks pretty cool.

This is a fantastic value ADV Jacket. It has features that punch up many levels to the far more expensive competitors jackets. While there is better armor out there, this jacket at least comes with CE level 1. Expensive jackets usually in-some cases have none. There are plenty of pockets, and air vents. I did a 6 hour 110 mile offroad ride with this jacket so far. It was On a 45 degree morning and eventual low 50 degree afternoon and very high winds. I rode without the liner. I was completely warm. I Had 1 very minor get off and plenty of arm abrasion by branches in tight single track. The jacket held up with no issues. You would never know the jacket was put through its paces. The seams are strong and the jacket has high quality zippers.Pricing is fantastic. You will not be let down by the quality for the money. I have not been in the rain yet so I can’t comment. I did encounter many water / mud situations and I remained dry and the mud comes off the jacket fairly easily.Based on the construction I would say due to all the zipper covers ,great seam stitching and pocket protection flaps that look to limit water intrusion, I would feel safe saying the jacket will provide a level of water proofing. For how long I would not be sure.Fit is true to size. I usually wear a large.I went with the XL because I actually wear the jacket over my Leatt 5.0 CE level 2/3 upper body armor which is a bulky armor . I also leave the armor that came with the jacket in place. I achieved a great fit and excellent movement with no movement restrictions at all.As you can see I am a stickler for body protection. When you have been impaled you don’t want it to happen again. If I don’t wear the leatt body armor the jacket is a little big but still is a great fit due to all the sleeve and waist adjustment straps. I am 5 ft 10 and 168 pounds. I can’t say enough about this jacket you really can’t go wrong. I look forward to many rides using this jacket. AGATTIf you are on the fence with this jacket I would say that you won’t be let down. If you are coming from a $1,000 dollar jacket then you may have something to comment about from a comparison perspective. This jacket is $70.00.Plain and simple, it works and is feature rich.My bike is a WR 250 R. I ride single track and mainly offroad dirt environments. Minimal on road.Be well and ride safely.2/2/23 after a season of using this jacket I must say I am pleased with it.Can’t report on waterproofing. However I can say it does offer decent protection. I have been down a few times offroad and also got harpooned by a branch in the left arm. The branch caught a seam and it did make a significant rip the jacket where the fluorescent panel meets the black panel. The sticking ripped apart. The branch never penetrated the jacket. All I ended up with is a big bruise. I need to get the jacket sleeve sewn now for a repair. The only negative I have for this jacket is the neck Velcro severely irritates your neck. They should have a snap or reduce the size of the Velcro to prevent it from making contact with skin. I never close it for that reason. Or put a neck scarf.Over all I think it’s a good value jacket.

This jacket is better than it has any right to be at this price point. I've worn Scorpion brand for years, and this feels completely on par for a third the price. The jacket is roomier than expected; I'm 6' / 215 lbs, and with an XL size I had to cinch up waist adjustments almost all the way. I LOVE this jacket, but there are 2 small design flaws that made me drop a star: 1.) the liner is honestly too thin. This thing is built like a cold weather jacket, but the liner holds almost no heat. I really have to layer up. And 2.) there's virtually no adjustment for the rather large neck opening, so it gapes open and creates an air scoop, funneling chilly air down my back. Definitely want to use a neck gaiter to help fill that void. Otherwise, this is an AMAZING deal. BONUS TRIVIA: according to their website, HWK is actually pronounced "Hawk".... it's not an abbreviation!

So I bought this on a frends recommendation and I'm glad I did this thing does well for being well under $100It has a light weight liner and I've rode in 40°f weather with it and a light long sleeve under armor shirt I was nice and comfortable not too hot not to cold I rode up to 70mph with these results on a klr650Water does bead off of it and the wind does not cut through the jacket. I love the amount of pockets it has. They Velcro down and stay shut. Keeps stuff dry. These are awesome when paired with the HWK adv pants. The padded armor is has is pretty cheesy however but better then none. But you can remove em and put better stuff in. I will buy again when mine is worn out

I’m a new rider so I took a gamble with this jacket wasn’t sure what I was getting. This jacket feels durable lots of padding in shoulders & back. Very noticeable riding my bike down the road I felt safe & definitely visible to other drivers. Lots of vents, removable liner and lots of adjustments through out the jacket where needed. I would recommend this jacket to the novice & seasoned rider out there.Ride safe!!

A bit expensive for the quality. If you run your motorcycle in the rain, you should know the jacket is not waterproof (I learned this the hard way... ). Also there is no Cordura fabric. It could be OK as a first moto jacket to start with, but nothing more - I don't understand why some people are so amazed about this product. Same things apply for the pants of the same brand.

My only regret is that I did not purchase this jacket sooner. I have put my heavy, bulky leather jacket deep into the back of the closet. This jacket is comfortable, light and warm. Love it.

I use this coat when I ride my motorcycle. It is a really well built coat. I was a bit nervous buying a coat for such a low price but I think it’s great. Zippers are really strong. It also has Velcro in various areas like on the zipper and on the pockets. It’s a very strong Velcro. I feel anything I put in the pockets would stay fairly dry and very secure. My only complaint is it doesn’t seem to breath very well. I took the inside liner out and opened all the vents and I still don’t seem to get much air to my body. Maybe that’s because it’s so water resistant. It doesn’t bother me that much, just keep in mind it is a warm coat indeed. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. I bought a pair of the same brand of pants to go with it. They zip right to the back of the coat. It makes for a very secure and dry connection. I highly recommend this jacket.
