This is a set of knee and elbow pads. They have a nicely lined and cushy inner side and an outer layer of a hard plastic. I got these for my husband who does maintenance on coffee machines. He was constantly coming home with knees sore and black with grime from having to get down underneath counters and machines to service them. These knee pads save him a lot of pain from kneeling and later from scrubbing at his skin to get the yuck off. The elbow pads have a simple elastic velcro strap for adjusting and securing on. The knee pads have the same type of strap but they have a hook and button quick release. The materials are of good quality and the construction sturdy. Definitely recommend.

There small ! Would fit a child and I didn't receive both elbow pads . I would not recommend spend some more money and get a better pair.
