I'm so thankful that something like this exists. I bought the Fluval: 88 gram CO2 kit, thinking it was going to last a while, after two weeks, all the CO2 had been drained into my 15 gallon aquarium, I realized I had made a mistake buying it, and now I'm stuck spending more money for more CO2 every couple of weeks.Fortunately, I can buy a cheap paintball refillable CO2 tank and use that instead, the Hydra Aquatic CO2 Paintball Adapter is the key to saving yourself money on CO2!I used this with the 24 ounce, Empire CO2 refillable cylinder, and it works very well, no leakage and a nice sleek design that appeals to the eye.

I have a regulator from the fluval 88g kit that’s been working well for a few years so I figured I would try to use a larger canister as to not waste the disposable co2 ones anymore. I used this on my 12 oz paintball canister with plumber’s tape and most importantly a RUBBER WASHER. You NEED a washer to keep it air tight and to prevent the horrible pop and hissing of co2 escaping when you are first screwing the regulator on the canister. I used a 3/4 “ OD 1/2” ID shower head washer and it’s keeping everything nice and tight so far.

Did not fit. Sig mcx pellet rifle. Normally use 90g disposable. The threaded neck (skinny part)was not long enough to engage the rifle threads beforemail becoming thicker. Otherwise good material and finish looks good. I cut it up into little pieces and the product is a good quality aluminum.

A little difficult to tighten down all the way. The hex on the regulator side and on the bottom of the regulator will overlap if you do not have a very thin profile wrench. Works like a charm. Mates my 88g Fluval kit right onto a paintball tank.

THIS IS NOT A CGA-320 ADAPTER!!! I have no idea what it fits (must be some proprietary solenoid).AMAZON - PLEASE TAKE NOTE!!!To review...I have a planted fish tank, which I assume you do too if you are looking at this item. Like me, you are probably interested in using a paintball CO2 tank to provide your CO2 (maybe it's a cheaper tank, maybe it's easier to refill, maybe the smaller CO2 tank fits your cabinet better - all the reasons I need to ditch the huge 5lb CO2 tank). Here's the problem... the paintball tank has a needle valve, so you can't just screw on your usual regulator (the needle needs to be pushed in, which would have happened by squeezing the trigger on the paintball gun, for CO2 to be released - typical regulators and CO2 tanks don't have any needle). Thus the need for an adapter, which screws onto the paintball tank, pushes in the pin, and then you hook up your regulator to the other end.The problem... the standard size screw fitting in the US is CGA 320. Tanks have the male end, regulators have the female end, all fits together well. CGA 320 is just under an inch in diameter (sometime like 0.8). The description of this product says CGA 320. Sounds good right? WRONG - the paintball side is CGA 320, but the regulator side is way smaller, something like 0.5 inch. Standard regulators wont fit. Maybe I got the wrong one, but do yourself a favor and buy the aquatek version (which is a few $$ more expensive... serves me right for trying to go for the cheapo version without ratings).Otherwise, this thing looks pretty nice and seems sturdy. Might be useful if you actually have the appropriate regulator...

So glad I found this. Fits perfect on the fluval 88 gram regulator. If you have an 88 gram fluval co2 kit, you need to buy this and a paintball co2 tank. I bought the 24oz tank. As anyone who has the 88 gram kit knows, the replacement cartridges are taxed! $30 to $40 for the 3 pack of cartridges. I went through them in a month and a half on my 55 gallon. That was keeping the co2 on the low side. Ill have to fill the paintball tank around 4x a year. The paintball tank costs $3 to fill at my local paintball park. After doing the math of switching to the paintball tank and using this adapter... I went from spending around $300 a year (I know it's absurd) to spending some where around $12! So do yourself and your wallet a favor and buy this!

The product does fit on the end of a paint ball can this product however does NOT work with all FUVAL products and it needs to be noted in the description what kinds it can work with. I had to tighten the heck out if it to get it to go on, I used teflon tape and it still leaked out. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this product, and due to me tightening this so much I wont be able to return it either because I can not get it off my regulator, and now I need to purchase a whole new setup. BEFORE you purchase TRIPLE check that this will work for you
