had to re-tap metric pump to 1/4NPT to fit a hydraulic hose couldn't find metric fittings just ran a 1/4 tap straight in no drilling ... my ol pump waz a one hose pump had to run a extra hose for the down position you can rewire the pump and use the weight of the bed to let down bypassing the second relay and powering up the first relay but removing the start side so the starter dont run

I may have to return product. Can't find compatible fittings / came with NO instruction or installation manual - can't get power to the motor???? I've been to numerous local hydraulic equipment suppliers - finally found a supplier for the connectors that thread into the pump BUT have no wiring instructions for the installation. Tried power to couple of the terminals on the solenoid but nothing works.The box it came in was quite banged up with really damaged internal foam packing - motor may have been damaged, thus reason motor won't power up. Can you send me a PHONE # for "TOPDEEP" supplier - i cant find it anywhere on-line.

Overall, this a decent 12VDC hydraulic pump, motor & pump seem to be rugged construction.Pictures show a battery I hooked to unit to test for operation.Wiring harness is good quality.Control pendant has two magnets on back side for mounting and also a plastic sleeve to also hold it.Reservoir is 8" x 8" 13".Overall length is about 24"'Recommended fluid capacity is 12 liters (10.5 quarts)There is no specific recommendation for hydraulic fluid.The manual is written in rather vague terms.I did note a few things, that having worked as a Mechanical Engineer for several decades, I thought were odd.1st. One of the two electrical solenoids that mount to the top of the pump body has very short thread engagement.2nd. Only 1 of 4 fasteners from pump flange to hydraulic fluid reservoir had a flat washer lock washer.3rd. Mounting points are only two threaded holes in the bottom of the pump body. It would seem prudent to have the end of fluid reservoir also supported.4th. There is no filtering provided for the pump oil.5th. Schematic diagram text is unreadable.

The pump on my dump trailer is getting weak so I picked this up so I am ready when it finally gives up. I have not installed it yet but I like it overall and it feels well made. If I run into any issues I will update this review. 5 STARS

I put this on my tip trailer to help me unload firewood more easily but it's really overkill for that. The pump is pretty quick and very strong, seems super well constructed and was easy to install/plumb up. I was thinking about putting this on an oversized cattle gate too - just to see how it'd work. I am VERY happy with this piece of equipment and I'm looking forward to trying it out for lots of different applications. Five stars from me - if something goes wrong I'll update the review.

Advertised as being 2 gpm flow. Pump we received was only .83 gpm.

When you go to pick this up you should be prepared, because it is heavy! In my experience, if something is heavy that’s powered by an electric motor it is quality. Time will tell and I will update this review if anything about this pump is substandard, but I don’t for see any issues.
