I didn't use this product for a RV slide out. I used this motor gearbox combo in a restaurant glass polisher machine I made. This motor is perfect for what I needed. It's plenty strong to put a little pressure on since it's designed to move slides in an RV. I utilized the attached chain sprocket to drive my 4 polishing posts. This motor is robust and worked great for my use.
