My amp gauge used to flake out with “sometimes charging”. I could get it to work by cycling the key on the lawnmower. This regulator did the trick

Watched video on troubleshooting battery not charging on a John Deere L120. Battery tested fine, per an online video used a multimeter to test for current, found none. Found this part, easy replacement, battery now stays charged.
