My long-haired cat loves this food. He used to throw up constantly and I haven’t noticed more than a hairball every now and then after starting him on this. He was on this brand’s digestive help for a while but we switched to this. He seems to be very healthy while on this food. High quality food, my vet recommended it. It doesn’t smell pungent but the cats love the taste. One bag lasts us a while with 4 cats, so it’s a decent size too. All my cats have shiny and soft fur, but I’m not sure if that’s because of the food or not.

This dry food works well for my two cats. The texture seems not too hard for them to chew up easily, but it is a hard food, rather than a soft chewable or meat type product. We did not have a problem with hairballs prior to using this food, but I can say we have NEVER had an instance of a hairball since we started using it, and both cats are long haired. Food works well in automatic feeder, dispensing nicely and cleanly. We have tried a few other flavors, but this seems to be the flavor our cats like the most, as their bowls are always clean at the end of the day/in the morning. Price point is perfect for us, and it is great that it is on the subscribe and save program, as we just have it delivered regularly and never run out of food. Would recommend this product to others!

Hairball formula but does not stop the issue. I do find however that the hairball issue has slightly reduced after having both cats on this for a few months. They like smaller kibble and transitioned to this IAMS formula quite nicely. I do quite like the packaging, it's always shipped in a bigger box than what it really needs to be but everything is sealed and appropriate and a manner in which you would expect. Ships well. Holds up well. They don't seem to be any problems with them digesting and throwing up fur balls. I don't notice any difference in their coat. It is a good value for a good product. We have this on auto ship.

I’m always looking for hairball control formula because my older cat does have that problem. She seems to like this. Doesn’t completely eliminate hairballs, but they are less frequent.

I have used this for both my indoor and feral outdoor cats. They prefer this over anything else that I've used in a pinch. It has kept them all healthy. I've used it for probably 3 years or more. I would use this as my first choice. I recommend it to everyone who wants to keep their cats healthy.

I've used this for years with my cats. IAMS Hairball is ALWAYS part of my cats food mix as it helps keep their stools first. You can find it pretty much anywhere when you travel if ever in a bind and not have to worry about giving your cats the raging poos if you had to give a different brand in emergent situations. IAMS Hairball formula is the most effective dry food we've fed our cats to help prevent hairballs. Lesser brands have not worked at all, and are a waste of money in my opinion. This product provides the best value in our household. Our cats bring up far less hair from their digestive tracts and I'm sure they're a lot happier, and this saves me work from having to clean up behind them, too!

I have rescue cats and used Iams many years ago. Since my crew has developed a lot of urinary tract infections they were all put on a urinary diet which they were on for years. I decided to switch them back to Iams because I was familiar with it, although I did a bunch of research on it before I switched. Everyone has a beautiful shiny coat and their poop is wonderful. There is no diahhrea. They all love it. I work in an Animal Hospital and I have always recommended Iams to Clients because it's middle of the road in cost and is much healthier than the grocery store brands. If you want a happy, healthy cat go to Iams. Some of the foods in specialty stores have way too much protein which only causes kidney and liver disease. The grocery store brands have no nutritional value at all. A long healthy happy life is what we all strive for. Give it a try.

If you buy really cheap cat food, went up using more by following their directions if you buy this product from this company you use les and your cat is healthier. There is cat food out there that cost more but for a long time this was Recommended by vets because it was available in supermarkets and online and you didn’t have to go to your vet to get it. Most importantly, my cat likes it
