Built with tone woods selected for their beauty as well as their musicality, the art core line Covers The wide range of styles for which Ibanez hollow and semi-hollow bodies are known. The AM53 features a Saelee top, back and sides in resonant transparent flat finish. The fretboard is rich laurel contrasted by white dot inlays, set to a slim mahogany set-in neck that has proven its reliability on thousands of Ibanez hollow and semi-hollow bodies throughout the years. Infinity R pickups feature warm, balanced articulation and excellent response for various music genres.

The only thing I disliked about the guitar was the tone and volume knobs. There is no indicator on what number the wheel is on. I figured it out after playing with it. That is only minor though. It sounds beautiful. Thank you.

A great guitar... "for the price." Sorry, but I hate this phrase. Back in the day you had Fender, Gibson, Charvel and Ibanez. Sure, there were others much smaller, but these four companies were the biggies. Nowadays, there are so many guitar manufacturers and they all seem to be upping quality, lowering costs and using the same countries and luthier's in Asia to make their guitars too... just hanging their badges on the headstocks.As for Ibanez, they did a great job on this guitar like they do on everything - this is why the pro's use Ibanez. Build quality, feel & sound are great! If you are a writer you will be able to find your creativity with this excellent guitar. No need to brag and be seen with Fender and Gibson. You get it right here for less than half the price on average. Have fun!

I'm a pretty serious musician and have just released a double album on all the platforms so not a beginner. I really like ibanez equipment due to early influences of steve vai . I've found them to be good quality and value. My goodness this guitar is great. It came well set up, didn't need to change a thing, just a tune up and play. It holds its pitch pretty well and feels great to play. I can honestly recommend it. I did my research first and found it to be a great buy. Treat yourself to a great quality bargain .

Very surprised at the quality for the price as its playability is impressive I would recommend this lovely guitar to anyone beginner or player .I been playing for 30 years and am impressed by this guitar although it's a flat top it still looks great
