I got a pair of these JUST IN TIME for each member of my family because the that night we had a major snowstorm! The next day whoever's turn it was to take the dog out, put their pair on. (That's 4 different shoe sizes!) I'm assuming the dog was grateful that these were easy to put on & I'm pretty sure that whoever's turn it was to walk the dog was also happy! The Velcro strap made these fast & easy to apply! They functioned amazingly plus the traction, & fit were perfect! Best of all, nobody slipped on the ice!

Well they did not fit my large size 13 wides but the XL came with a nice carry bag and for the price my son will make great use of them. I may be in need of some XXXL sizes so no cheap options for me. Great quality and shipping speed but the XL as a man I would say 11’s is all you can expect.

Not impressed and would recommend against buying these. I wear a size 12 boot, typically at the high end of covered “size ranges” for slip resistant strap-ons. Since XL’s were rated for size12-14 boots, I assumed these wouldn’t be stretched so tight and might therefore last longer - Not the case. These were at least as tightly stretched as any I’ve had before, and they aren’t nearly as well secured/reinforced with heal/toe framework. I also liked that they came with a strap to go over the top of the boot. However, that strap isn’t NEARLY long enough to latch over a shoe/boot to the opposite side’s fastener. You can either cut the strap off or come up with your own “extender”. But the worst thing is their durability. I put them on and used them 1 time to snowblow ~3” from my driveway - maybe average to slightly above average in size. The next morning was warm and my blacktop was nearly fully exposed. I found of the 4 anti-slip cleats scattered on my driveway, inspected my boots and found that I had lost a total of 5 cleats on their maiden voyage And of course, they all came from the heal/ball of the foot areas that you rely on for non-slipping.

Great for use on level terrain, however on slopes sometimes slips off of heel!

The spikes keep me from slipping on indoor smooth surfaces; the Traxx (another brand) with the coiled springs made indoor surfaces extremely slippery.Outside, the grip well. Recommend thick sole shoes or boots otherwise you'll feel the cleats pushing up on the bottom of your shoe (or maybe it's just me, I'm a big guy). Also over-shoe velcro strap is handy in case it slips off the back of the shoe. That's what happened to one of my Traxx last year because I was in a hurry and didnt put them on right. Won't lose these.Oh yeah, almost forgot. Indoors on a wooden floor I sound like I'm tap dancing.

I'll start by saying that while I like hiking I am absolutely not a boot person, especially if flying and having to lug them around. Prior to my pre-Corona trip to Tokyo I figured I'd need something in case the trails to the snow monkeys were icy but didn't want to buy or wear boots. These cleats were cheap enough that I figured they might be worth a shot at getting traction while wearing my regular shoes. They were light enough to pack easily and stretchy enough, even when cold, to get on and off easily. Plenty of extra spikes included and these really did make all the difference in the world. It was a long slick walk and while everyone else was struggling of having to be careful I just kind of went about my business. I would recommend taking a gallon ziplock bag with you, that way you can take them off and store them in your bag when you don't need them while out.

My shoe is women's 8.5 which puts it in the middle of medium. It'll slide over dainty flat shoes, but i could not get them into my women's size 8.5 sneakers. Other than that, they work as they're supposed to (on the smaller shoes). I suggest if you're a women's size 8+, try a large, not a medium.

our Michigan was hit by a couple of snows last few weeks. After my father-in-law one day fell on ice and almost break his arm when trying to reach the mailbox, i decide to buy something like this for him. The large size mat could actually fit my size 10.5 shoes and also his size 8 pretty well. You need to practice for a couple of minutes before fully comfortable with the mat installed. But once you get familiar with this feeling, you will find it super useful for anti-slippery. He never falls on snow again. And the nails is actually pretty firm, not a single one falls down after these couple of weeks of use
