Although our municipal water is rated highly, straight from the tap it always seems to taste alternately like a swimming pool or a swamp. These filters, which we use in a Pur filter, take out whatever off taste is present and give us excellent water for drinking, tea, and coffee.

The last batch of PUR filters was a major disappointment. All 4 clogged within a week. I think the cartridges had too much filter material in them.Oh well, these cartridges fit just fine. the water tastes just like PUR filtered water. I'll be using these cartridges from now on. I'm very happy with this product.

Water filters work great... don't be fooled by the original filter design that came with the system and the new filters

I installed the filter into the water pitcher and it worked great to filter the first time through. The second time I refilled it not only didn't filter it didn't let any water through. Thinking I had a dud I removed it and installed a new one EXACTLY AS DIRECTED. This one allowed water to pass through but it was not filtered and tasted horrible. I would recommend buying genuine PUR filters.

The pitcher fits in my reg size frig not the fancy double door kind. This pitcher is thinner and the water is great! The filters last more than a month ! Probably good enough for 55 gallons or so. Very pleased with the product

I liked the fact that they are similar to the original PUR filters and more economical.
