I first used this while documenting a broken fish tank for an insurance claim. I laid the tape across the glass in order to document where the various cracks, gaps, and other anomalies were in relation to the overall tank. The tape peeled up easily with no residue left behind.I taped a length to a piece of paper to create a flexible ruler. I also have a 12-inch segment taped to my desk for quick measurements. It stays put despite folders, books, and other items being dragged across it, although the corners are pulled up slightly. The scale is accurate when compared against other rulers, tape measures, and scales. The tape does not adhere well to damp or wet surfaces, so make sure the surface is relatively clean and dry.

I work with miniatures at the 1 inch scale so I often use measuring tape to keep me on target. Rulers can get in the way and are often hard to manage when you're also manipulating wood and glue. I use the sticky measuring tape on my gluing board. It measures 2' x 1' with a 1/2 inch square wood piece attached on one long and one short edge to act as a border that holds what ever I am gluing in place. It also forms a 90° corner that comes in handy for miniature fences and furniture. The sticky ruler tape runs along all 4 edges so I don't have to guess at my measurements. It's terribly handy. My only complaint is that the numbers start over at the end of every 12 inches. If I am putting the sticky ruler on something less than a foot, I have to cut off enough tape to start me back at 0 for the next project. I always feel like I'm wasting tape. That being said, I would rather waste a small amount of tape that have to number everything myself. You also have to make sure that the tape is facing the same direction when you use it more than one time on the same object. For example, I can't turn my gluing board upside down without the numbers on one section of the tape being upside down as well. I know that sounds pretty obvious but I didn't think about it until I was actually doing it. I felt pretty clueless when I realized all my numbers weren't going in the same direction.I haven't had any trouble with it rolling or lifting up. I haven't really removed it from anything that it's been attached to for a long period of time so I can't comment on how easy it would be to take off if it were stuck down for more than a few hours.

Really love this! Stuck it on my craft table for easy measuring. Wish it was just a tad thicker... it's so thin it does tear easily & folds up on itself. Might be a 2 person job for accuracy, because it's so thin.

Use it in my sewing table, embroidery hoops and other misc uses. Works well, good adhesive, nice when a sewing tool is so reasonably priced.

Wish the centimeters were marked on the tape with each number or at least every 10 cms or so. Unless you can convert inches to cms on the fly, it's hard to measure without the labels. Inches are fine tho.

I ordered this tape to use in a craft room application. I was very pleased with this tape. It's measurements are in 12 inch increments, it doesn't stretch at all, and measurement stays true. I've since applied it to the outer edge of my cutting board in the kitchen for cutting veggies, etc., precisely. It is similar to oilcloth fabric in its construction, making it easy to wipe clean. It worked great in my craft room application! It's approx 1/2 inch wide. It would also be great in a workbench application. I've had it in place for a couple of months with no indication of the adhesive coming loose. Quality product!

I use it for my shop tools and jigs. The inch reacing repeats every foot so its easy to tear off and use for multiple jigs. Otherwise if the numbering kept going it would basically be 1 time use.

This is a great idea. I have stuck it the length of my table. However, it goes in 12" at a time. It would be better if it was in either 36" or 39" lengths
