if your buying it for a big block Chevy this looks awesome. really cleans up the look and is very sturdy with a lot of adjustability. however we put it on a tall deck 427 and with the deck height being about a half inch difference it tilts the alternator just a little bit. I don't think it is enough to kick the belt off or not. but it will work

I purchased this product for my 396 Chevy big block.Fit perfectly, was easy to install, looks great and tightened my alternator belt up which was my issue. The price was in the middle compared to others.

I purchased a larger alternator and already had a similar bracket installed. However the adjustment rod would get too close to the alternator and not set enough tension. In this kit the bottom bracket and turnbuckle are essentially the same as other options, but the additional intermediate bracket allows more clearance. Very easy to install, only took about 15 minutes and had no issues. Belt tension was perfect and easy to set.

I bought this to dress up my new chevy 427 tall deck build. Was dissapointed when I realized it wouldnt fit, but it was my fault for not paying attention to it sayign it fit my big block when actually mine is the "tall deck" so the holes were off .400 of an inch. I had to flip and modify the main bracket and get a longer main bolt to make it salvagable since i havent found a dress up kit like this for a tall deck big block.
