This mat is a great choice. I have an old fashioned “claw foot†bathtub and have to step over the high sides in order to get in. I need a truly anti-slip mat in order to do this safely. This mat sits securely inside the tub and gives me the traction I need to keep from slipping. It is also a little longer than some mats, which allows me to move around and still have it underfoot. The slight texture of the pebble design feels great underfoot. The mat also adds an additional safety feature when my year old granddaughter takes a bath in the tub. I set a big rubber laundry basket in the tub for her to sit in and the mat helps to hold the basket in place. I got the blue mat. FYI, It's really aqua and slightly darker than the picture. I think the holes between the pebbles look quite attractive. I have had no issues with mold or odor. I wash my tub regularly and allow the mat to air dry. BTW, this is very well priced. I've seen it in stores for $4.00+ more.

Ive had these over a year and when they are dirty i throw then in my washing machine and they come out clean and look brand new. Really durable and not uncomfortable to stand on.

Purchased this for my camper. Seems like nothing in the universe will stick to the camper walls or tub. It was easy to cut a few sections (individual pebble shapes) and it seems to stay in place even though the suction cups don't work in my unit. Lovely color.

The smell of this mat is overwhelming. I now notice it as soon as I walk into my house. That can’t be healthy…Edit: threw it away and bought a different one from Walmart. Waste of money!If this isn’t enough to dissuade you, it is also smaller than expected. Check the dimensions at least.

Gorgeous! This is such a beautiful feature to my bathroom that I almost hate to pull my shower curtain closed. I have a balance and mobility problem due to brain surgery and need a rail and mat for safety reasons, but I don't want to make my home look like a hospital, and I'm not an old lady. You don't sacrifice functionality for style with this mat. I love how the "pebbles" are translucent, giving the impression of glass river stones. If I could change anything I would make it longer to make more of the shower floor safe. It covers enough space when I take a shower and use my shower chair, but when I take a bath I have to be mindful of where the mat is and make sure I get up from that position. Another bonus, perhaps due to its open design, I have never once had a problem with mold or mildew despite this being the sole bathroom for two women. My roommate was delighted at this mat and loves the appearance, but doesn't like it beneath her in the bath. As for myself, I don't mind and have had no issue with it. I highly recommend this mat!

I needed a safer tub after an accident, but hated the hospital-supply feel of many non-slip tub mats. This is the perfect solution: non slip, lets water through so the underside doesn’t get gross quite so quickly, and attractive. Does not make me feel like I am 90 before I am 60!
