Our kitchen is short on storage space, so I decided to get these for my oven mitts. It fits our narrow pantry door perfectly, and even has holes on the back side of the hooks to drill into the door for more stability, if desired. (We are using it for lightweight objects, so that's not necessary for OUR particular use, but just pointing it out in case anybody is looking for that, specifically.) The hooks are situated so that there's no resistance or snagging while opening and closing the door. I love it.

I purchased to place on our closet door to hold our robes. When I received, noticed the hanger was slightly bent. I straightened hanger out and placed it on our door and there is some wiggle room left as our door is 1 1/2" wide. I can screw them down with flat-head screws, but have not attempted. Even though hanger was slightly bent, I kept as I knew I would not be putting anything too heavy as I am just putting robes on it. Just keep in mind, that it can bend and if you want heavier items, you may want to screw the hangers down. Otherwise I am pleased as it makes it easier to access our robes in our bedroom without having to dig in the closet, and it takes out the bulky robes making room for clothing. My only other quibble is why they did not make the hanger all one piece and instead welded the hangers onto a smaller piece of metal - especially since the hooks themselves are well made. Strange . . .

I have a double bathroom door where one side has a side lock to stay in place while the other door moves. This actually fits over the door and allows the door to open and close. I'm pleased with the quality and thickness. It stays in place when the door moves.

This is a sturdy product but nothing stays on the hooks. Towels fall off and clothing falls off. Just doesn’t do the job that I purchased it to do and that is why it only gets 1 “overall†star.
