Reputable brand, great color, size and price-good value in my opinion. Small enough to keep my batches of ice in my home office without having to get back up every 20 minutes and make a fridge run. Also great with my small icemaker because the basket on that is only big enough for about 2 refills. I would rather utilize both then unplug the ice maker for a while. Anyway, I definitely recommend it for your beverage/ice storage ideas.

Igloo products are generally quite durable and last for years. I believe this will be no exception. Liquids stay cold for for 8+ hours when my son uses it on his landscaping job (in Arizona!). The two-gallon volume is not too large to move around and allows him to stay hydrated. On our 4th of July gathering, the spout dripped on the tile floor when multiple people filled their cups, which became a sticky mess. Not a major problem, and it wasn’t a malfunction per se. It should have been anticipated and next time we will put a towel on the floor below the spout. It is proving to be a useful purchase!

The Cub Scouts have some pretty nifty ideas. At a camping event in the HOT Florida sun, it was suggested that we purchase a two-gallon cooler and freeze water in it. Pour the water into the container and VOILA cold water all weekend as the ice will slowly melt as we add the water time and again.Well, I'm a bit chicken to freeze water in it just yet, but did the next best thing. The better part of a 10 lb bag of ice fits in this thing. Pouring the better part of a gallon of water over the top and the water is perfectly cold. The weather we tried it in was pleasantly warm, but we had ice left in it after two days.Pros:Easy to washAir vent at top helps the water come out FASTStayed cold in mild weatherThe spigot is removable if neededCons:The lid is not insulated at all, neither is the very top of the coolerCondensation, even in mild weather, left quite a bit of water pooling on the tableNot sure how long this would keep ice cold in the heatHandle does seem a bit flimsy for this container, especially since two gallons weighs a lotWould highly recommend for staying cold for less than 24 hours, but not sure if it is good for longer than 24 hours in hot weather.

I got this for poolside and the backyard for a family of 6. I wanted something I could half fill with ice from my freezer and add a drink and carry it outside. I also wanted to be able to pack it for picnics or the beach. I just take this and some cups out when it’s hot.It has a vent that opens like a dish soap bottle that makes the water come out nice and fast. It’s lightweight enough for me to carry. My kids love to drink water out of this because it’s so cold. The handle works well for me. I don’t fill mine all the way though. So if you need a full 2 gallons, if you’re making a recipe for Gatorade, koolaid, lemonade, tea or whatever you might consider going with the 3 gallon water cooler instead.This doesn’t tip even at the tables edge. It’s stayed cold for hours in 80 degree weather for me. Tomorrow will be in the 90s and I hope it works well in that. I do keep it in the shade under an umbrella on my patio table.Also this has a screw on top. It might not be sealed to be leakproof, I don’t know. But it doesn’t pop off or fall off if you tip or drop the cooler.This has all the features I was looking for. Depending on your cabinets this would likely fit in most under counter cabinets too or a tall pantry shelf.

This was my 5th purchase of this particular insulated jug. I have a delivery job where I am outside every day of the year. Although it is more than needed for the cooler (cold) months, I found there is nothing better during the warmer (hot) months of the year. The most important features to me are the size & bottom water spout. I can put roughly 5lbs. of ice then fill it with water. This will last me for a full day if very hot, or even carry over to day #2 with still having ice in it. The spout at the bottom allows me to fill my container quickly without having to pour it from a jug. No mess & quick fill. These jugs will break if not secured properly & only last 1-2 years of heavy use, hence the multiple purchases. Still highly recommend for the outdoor workers of the world.

My son plays youth soccer U12 and I started coaching his team. Halfway through games or practices these kids chug thier water bottles and are out. I bought this so they can refill if needed. It is the perfect size at 2 gallons. Something bigger would be a hassle to tote around with all the other equipment I lug out there. Water stays cold, easy to operate and clean.

Bought for camping trips. We part fill with ice and water, I have even put a frozen 1lt carton of milk in there to keep cool as our coolbox is quite small. Seems stury enough and does a reasonable job.

Ich nutze den Behälter nicht für den Sport, aber 1 2kg Beutel Eis, eine Flasche Brandy und eine Kiste Rotwein passen rein. Toller Sangria Behälter und durch den Griff toll zu tragen. Der "Zapfhahn" tropft ein wenig nach, aber das hat man auch überall. Die Isolierung hält tatsächlich über Stunden kalt. Wir haben nach 8 Stunden bei 30 Grad immer noch kühle Sangria schlürfen dürfen. Von mir eine Kaufempfehlung.
