Bought this as opposed to getting a $50 one from autozone. For a week it worked, no issues. Then I was on the highway and my truck completely stalled out on me, I had to push my truck off the highway into a construction zone. Went to autozone 5 times and was out for 4 hours. Replaced the starter, coil, all new ignition, to no prevail. The last thing I tried was a new REAL cap and rotor and the truck fired right up. When I took it off the metal was all black and ground down. Made out of cheap material.

But the rotor button tab broke within a hr. I took a vechile with no problems and had a miss. First replaced plugs and changed gap 45 with no luck. Then bought new wires to replace the new ones I just replaced with no luck. Then I went an got new cap and button. That's when I found the problem. Also you will need to keep screws off old cap because the ones that came with it won't fit a 99 4.3.

Waste of money. The tab that contacts the rotor falls off. It still works for a little while but eventually misfires or won't start at all.Also does not fit the distributor snugly like the Delphi cap and if you use the screws it comes with you will break the plastic distributor housing.Lasted 3 months. Had to remove it and buy a Delphi cap and rotor. See photos. No way to contact the seller so will never buy a non-oem cap again

I installed the new set only a week ago, so I think it's too soon to be reviewing it. My old truck has several issues, including the battery, so I've been unable to start the vehicle until this morning. I also cleaned the fuel system, so it's difficult to say if the new Distributor Cap & Rotor were responsible for how well the engine is running now. I gave 4 stars as the parts seem to be doing the job, as hoped.
