Your cart is empty. The distributor cap and rotor kit is located under the car's hood, open the hood and look for a black component near the centre of the engine.
Symptoms of a bad or failing distributor cap: The CEL is illuminated, the vehicle does not start, the engine idles rough. If you find the distributor cap worn out or cracked, replace it immediately.

My only suggestion would be that get the work done within return window because Amazon shipped it in a bag , not a box.

After 3 months of use the car developed an extreme misfire. I pulled the cap off and the center tab was missing, I found it under the rotor. After inspecting the cracked edge, half the edge was tarnished. I am guessing it was partially cracked from the factory.I have now installed ACDelco parts from RockAuto. I like inexpensive, but this was certainly a case of "got what I paid for".

Don’t waste your time or money, this part made my vehicle pull up 2 codes, and had to be removed.I had to clean up old distributor and rotor and replace it back into the vehicle.Sometimes cheap Chinese parts are not the way to go. I’d steer clear of this particular part.
