Well I'm sure if your reading this you are having the same problem I did. The ignition switch was the problem for my truck . If you don't know how to install i recommend have it done by a professional. You can always watch some how to on YouTube. Door lock work great as well no issues so far . Great price and it fixed the key problem all together. Everything fit as it should. You will need some know how to install yourself.

Door locks worked good. Not happy with ignition key cylinder or key - something not right. Inexpensive. No instructions. Videos on YouTube helped some. Found removing door handle mad installation easier

The ignition key fit perfectly in my 2001 Silverado. But the door locks are not an exact replacement. The pin coming out of the lock is different than the original as you can see in the picture. This kit did not include the arm that a lot of other kits on Amazon do include. If the seller will supply the arms that fit the backside of the lock, this would be a good purchase. I’ll update if they make it right.

I replaced the ignition on my 2006 Silverado due to theft attempt. This went in and installed smoothly but triggered the VATS as expected. I also have a 2004 GMC Denali. Had both sets of keys in my pocket. Was attempting to do VATS reset and had my hand in my front pocket of my sweatshirt. Realized that I had new key for truck in the pocket, and the Denali keys were in the ignition with the truck running. Took old truck key out of damaged ignition and it ALSO started my truck. The chances of all three GM keys being the same? Doubtful. But all 3 work in my ignition now. Only plus side is at least using the old key still I don't have to reset the VATS or replace the door lock now.
