Just installed these today on my 2013 Silverado. Such a nice blue tinged white light. I am hoping they last a long time.My pickup is coming up on two years old, with the stock license plate bulbs, which although bright enough to please the DOT, weren't quite what I was looking for. I looked for a 168 LED bulb at a local big chain store, and saw that they were $8.88 EACH... I bought a pair of Sylvania Silverstar 168 bulbs to try out instead, for the same price as these LED's from iJDMTOY. The Silverstar bulbs were marginally brighter than the stock GM bulbs that came with my truck, don't even hold a candle to these LED's. The LED's give a superior custom look to this area of my truck in comparison to the stock or Silverstar lights.When installing, check that they work before reassembling the lamp. LED's are polarity sensitive, in that if it doesn't work the first time (with your lights turned on), simply pull the bulb out, turn it 180 degrees and reinsert it. Should light up perfectly!In my 2013 Chevy Silverado, installation took about one minute total. The bulbs did fit a little snug in the clear lamp housing, due to the fact that the original 168 bulbs have a taper to them at the top, and GM didn't account for a bulb that doesn't have a taper. Assembled back together properly with no problem.I previously bought the interior LED light kit from iJDMTOY's and always get compliments on the interior lighting of my Silverado. Those lights are still going strong months later!As with my previous purchase from iJDMTOY, the bulbs were delivered in Michigan within seven days, all of the LED's worked properly, and as advertised, they are a very nice addition for that custom look, at an affordable price.

I bought these bulbs for my license plate and for the map lights in my 2014 Kia Optima. Truthfully, they are not really brighter than the stock incandescent bulbs but they look a lot better lighting up my license plate, that blue/white light looks great. That said, the same size bulb also fits in the overhead map lights lighting up the front of the car. Unfortunately, although they look cool they don't give off as much light as the stock incandescent bulbs. So after searching for a more powerful alternative I found the and am very pleased with the output, much brighter and not 6500K like these but closer to 4000K or true Bright White. The difference in output between the bulbs is quite noticeable so if you want really bright LED bulbs try those instead.

I know it's silly to be this excited about license plate bulbs, but I am. I've been wanting to get replacement ones for quite some time, but just never got around to it. One of my friends was driving behind me recently and told me that my license plate bulbs were out and in our state, you can technically get a ticket for that. So I finally had a reason to remember to get them. I did a bit of research because I didn't want to buy cheap ones, didn't want the same "dull yellow" ones and I didn't want inferior ones that would blow out or be of poor quality. So I found these. They were a brand I knew, they did well on reviews, and my Acura buddies on my forum said they were good. So I got them.They were quite easy to install, but that would obviously vary depending on your car. I have an Acura TSX and all I had to do was remove 3 clips that were holding the inner lining of the trunk on and then reach in, squeeze two clips together for each hosing, pull that out, pull the bulb out, replace it with the new bulb, "plug" the housing back into it's spot, do the same for the other side, reattach the lining by putting the clips back in and I was done.The result was an INSTANT upgraded look. Makes the car look night and day different when driving at night. Has a very nice luxury look.Important - these bulbs are NOT too bright, they are NOT too dark - in my opinion, they are absolutely perfect.

These have great light output and look far better than the yellowish, dull stock bulbs. They are mostly white with a small hint of blue. Michigan plates being white and blue, these are perfect. They are not too bright but subtle in illuminating the entire license plate without blinding fellow motorists. I didn't want to cheap out on lights, then have them not work in a few months. Compact enough for the small bulge that once held the stock bulbs in the bumper. I would guess that they would work well in all trucks that have this same LED bulb-height issue. They would also fit in nearly any place that calls for 194 bulbs or compatible types such as dome lights, map lights or running lights. Thus, I might be ordering more in the future.I drive a 2013 F-150 so these were installed in less than five minutes:1. Unscrew the bulb socket2. Pull out old bulb3. Plug in new LED4. Turn on lights to ensure polarity of LEDs are correct as IT DOES MATTER WHICH WAY THEY ARE PLUGGED IN.5. Plug in and twist bulb socket - DONE

So these things are very blue, and the right shade too. But they burn out kinda quick, ive had to buy another set of 2 already i replaced one and am waiting to replace the other because one level of leds isnt working so my left headlight marker light is brighter then my right but it doesnt bother me that much, be carful putting them in too if u push down on the top u will shorten the lifespan of them up, still a very nice color tho

Nice and bright...for about 2 weeks... then the contacts corrode and damage the fitting on your vehicle. Whoever decided iron contacts was a good idea is a special kind of stupid. Not only do I need new bulbs now but I need to wire in a new fitting. Only buy these bulbs if you hate your vehicle. I've had them in for about 3 weeks and the one is completely dissolved and I can't even get my money back. Absolutely garbage.
