The light is well built and fits well. The brake light is nice and bright. Make sure you buy a gasket to seal water out as this light does not come with one and you won’t be able to remove the OEM gasket from the OEM brake light. I bought one from amazon for $11. Other than that no complaints. Super easy install

Definitely an upgrade from the clear plastic one. Fitment is just like oem. Only issue I had is the plastic screws that hold the original light in place. Others said buy a gasket, this comes with one and would keep moisture out don’t waste the extra 15 dollars

I honestly have no complaints with this product, as it even came with install directions for those who did not pay attention. Super simple only hard part was getting those harness clips to drop down, other than that my F-150 looks even better with the smoked 3rd brake light.The light output is dim which makes sense as the housing is smoked, but I’m looking forward to see how it’ll run during the night time!

Said it would fit the truck and you would think it would be plug and play as the OEM one is but you need your own connector and everything

I needed to change out the lights on my third brake light and was looking for something that was LED that I wouldn't have to constantly replace. This product is definitely the answer to that. Takes just a few minutes to replace out the default third brake light and install this one. It has a pretty decent weather seal on it as well, you will want to screw it in tight though as I've seen a lot of folks only hand tighten their third brake lights and then have all kinds of moisture issues. Keep that in mind when you're installing this, secure it down until you can see that the weather seal is snug as can be and then you'll be fine.

This product comes with a different harness than my truck, so it is not plug and play. It looks good, but I'm not interested in splicing wires to install it.

Found it very confusing when purchasing this ..From what i seen it would fit my truck but somehow the plug is different . .. this company should include an adapter harness for different years . It is cool piece and would suite my truck well ..... however I was unable to plug in the electrical to power it. I suppose one could cut the harness and solder into the factory harness .... but not about to do that on my new truck .

Everyone who is saying it isn’t plug and play, you likely failed to investigate. The company should add better instructions, however the plug is location in the back seat, above the roof mat of the vehicle. It pops off very easily (right at the rear window) and you can access the plug. Looks good, fits, lights work.Negatives: it seems the LEDs are wired for constant power (they don’t turn off during the day or with headlights turned off). This isn’t the end of the world, but isn’t factory. They only turn off when the truck is turned off and doors shut and locked. They will burn out much faster this way.Also, the water seal came partially exposed; I had to add my own adhesive to the back. I took a picture. I’m satisfied enough, but probably a 2/5 based on the lack of instructions, damaged product, and constant power to LEDs.
