These seats are tremendous and very competitively priced. They take inspiration from existing race seats - most notably the RECARO "Speed V" seats - which generally cost 75% more.Indeed, the RECARO's may be better but despite any superiority they may claim, they are a premium product that is not a financially justifiable option for most. The IKONs, on the other hand, offer a very respectable option for everyone.I used these IKONs to replace the original leather seats of a 1999 BMW 5-Series (E-39). Unlike the original seats, the mechanism of the IKON's is manual and simple. I much prefer this. Regarding comfort, I find them very comfortable. I also added headrest pillows to mine.The only downside is that there is no option to raise and lower these seats once installed. They seat at a normal height but if one wants these seats higher, longer screws and spacers are the solution - if not simply a cushion.Also, I highly recommend buying brackets made specifically for your car, for the "universal ones" were totally incompatible in my case.I bought the brackets made by Planted Technologies. Although I still needed to modify them a little by drilling two holes and replacing the original rear socket head screws with hex head screws in order to tighten them from the side, it was perfect.Note: Pull out the cable from the original seat and replug it to floor and the seat belt buckle. That way the seatbelt light can continue working as before.

The seats have a lovely design on them. These racing seats for me are ideal because I daily my 350z. Comfort and value on these seats is worthy of 5 stars. The stars is for the relatively difficult ease of install. The parts were fine but this being my first time made it interesting.

I installed these in my 370Z. I went with these because when I bought the car, the set of seats in the car were from the same company but a different style, those were not comfortable at all and had to go, but to be safe I stuck with the same company because they fit nicely in the car. After installing these I will say I found issues with this set, as well as the set already installed on the car, both seats had terrible TERRIBLE brackets and adjusters, I mean moving the seat forward or backward is insanely difficult and just does not work well, if you’re cool with setting it in one position and never touching it, then you’re fine, but if other people drive your car and adjust your seat, it will be a nightmare. With that said, installation was easy and straightforward, easy to remove too. Another bad note is the new seats are a bit tight on the back of the thigh area. For the price, these seats are nicely built, the stitching is nice, the various colors and materials are a bonus since you have a variety of options, I just had to let people know about these brackets because they’re just god awful. I thought about welding the adjuster to the brackets in hopes that they would work better but as of today I haven’t touched or adjusted the seats.If I had to buy seats again (if for some reasons the poor quality brackets broke) , I probably won’t buy from this company again.

Outside of the staples which give a cheapish look underneath but is pretty common use in upholstery... the seat feels too nice, looks amazing and is solid.... I was hesitant to buy based on some of the reviews but honestly I'm in love with them. The leather feels great and it has a great quality feel.. for $400 ish pair I feel like was a bargain

Very good looking seats but ran into two problems. First, the bar to release the sliders kept coming out. It doesn't look like it was formed properly. Second thing is that there is no mounting point for the seatbelt buckle. On the original seats the buckle is secured to the side of the seat. Not about to start drilling holes in my car to mount it.

the recline stopped working after two weeks. im pissed because its just another headache after trying to finish this build, last thing i needed to deal with. the seat frame must be cheap along with components.
