its worked out well thus far, i dont really have a way of judging its accuracy strictly but it jives with in camera light meters and i seem to come out with similar settings when calling things out with this. its been handy for taking readings from very specific parts of a scene.

GOYERRNES Illuminance Light Meter, Digital Lux Foot Candles Meter 0.1~400,000 Lux (0.1~40,000 FC) with 270º Rotatable Detector, Lumen Meter Luxmeter for Plants LED Lights Indoor Outdoorseems like a find gadget. i have no idea how i would test the accuracy of this without the use of another meter with known accuracy, so lets assume its fine. but 30bills fine. first thing i noticed was it was in a plastic bag sealed at both ends. that is unusual. i open alot of gadgets. alot. a real lot. and they never are sealed at both ends. the bag they are in has a fold over with a strip of sticky tape that holds it closed. this one came in a sealed bag. i dont know what that means.s but it impressed me. so do with that what you will. has a storage bag. and some basic instructions. DID NOT COME WITH BATTERIES. this was a bit of a let down. but better to have no batteries than a no name battery that is dead on arrival. so maybe a smart choice, but there should have been batteries in the box. the head rotates which is cool. there are a couple different operation buttons. as best i can tell this measures lux. i used to be a flashlight enthusiast, and measuring light output was part of the code. i was never able to do it. it requires an integrating sphere and a meter like this. nonetheless, we understood how good a flashlight was by lumens. which is math plus lux. i dont fully understand all of how that works. but not i have a gadget that doesnt break the bank to experiement with.
