I purchased this helmet for racing in rallyx. Great helmet overall, seems well built, comfortable, and the sizing was right. A bit heavier than other helmets I’ve used, and slightly less visibility.

I purchased the following Full Face Helmets:1. ILM Model 8902. RaceQuip PRO203. Conquer 350My head measures 57cm and according to the size chart for each helmet I should be a medium. I have been down this road before and know that would be incorrect so I ordered the Large Conquer 350 first. This was way too tight and barely fit on my head so I decided to order all 3 of the above in an XL.The Conquer and RaceQuip are essentially the exact same helmet by 2 different companies. Padding and fit were identical with both fitting well around the top of my head but way too big by my cheeks. Overall the cheek padding was very soft but too much of a gap and no way to adjust it. The padding at the top was just ok and I felt that it would start to hurt after wearing the helmet for an extended period of time.The fit of the ILM helmet was perfect and the padding was a step above the Conquer and RaceQuip. I highly recommend trying this helmet out first.

I am 5’4†and roughly 120-130 lbs (it fluctuates wildly). Anyway, it fits perfectly & it was perfect for my use: at the drag strip. Also, it was cheaper than buying it locally (St. Louis, MO area) at local race shops and it got here within a day or two. I’ve been using it for 3 months now (1x per month) and it is holding up nicely. I wish I’d gotten white but white was I think more expensive at the time and it also would not have arrived in time. My car is white but I have gone with a white, black, red & carbon fiber theme and so it fits in nicely.

Great looking and comfortable helmet you can use for various auto sports and karting. The visor is a little tricky to lift up.

I tried this helmet and the Conquer helmet, both entry level for track days or autocross. The ILM has significantly better padding than the Conquer and a much better fit on an average to narrow face. If you have a round/wide face then the Conquer might be a good fit, but the ILM will fit most people better and it’s totally worth the small increase in price (spring 2024).My head measured 58.5cm and the size Large fits well. I would say true to size.The ILM helmet weighs 3lbs 11oz on my kitchen scale. 4oz more than the Conquer.

Had a few issues with this helmet. According to their size chart I'm a large. I ordered the large and it felt tight on the sides of my face. The helmets gets hot and uncomfortable even with the face shield up to the point where you cant breathe. After a few sessions some of the padding started to peel off. Plastic shell looks and feels like a low-end motorcycle helmet.I wouldn't recommend it for an HPD event or race.
