I’m adding 3/4†thick shiplap wall treatment and needed the box extenders per the NEC. These box extension sleeves worked perfectly AND they came with 1-1/2†long screws to be able to reattach the electrical devices.

Product is good.Weak outer packaging.Inner box was smashed & 2 products jammed together & warped. Still usable, but annoying. They should use a good box or better stuffing. Amazon, etc. touts the bag as lighter than a box -- saves their trucking, but risks damage.

I rarely review, but these were too nice not to. I have wainscot over drywall, and the electrical boxes are not even with the drywall, so my receptacle covers had a big gap between the receptacle and the cover. These beauties solved that problem with such ease. They are well made too, and come with screws. Such a win.

I am replacing various switches in my home with smart switches. A few of the existing old work gang boxes are deformed. These allowed me to level out the install of the switches so that they sit flush with the wall correctly. Prior to using these the switches were crooked. I’m so happy to have stumbled upon these.

I have an older home, built in the 60’s so the junction boxes are a little bit on the small side and have rounded corners. As a result, these didn’t fit properly and were ineffective.The way they are tapered, I don’t see these working with large plugs/switches such as dimmers or ones that work with home automation if you have two or more gangs.

These are excellent! My tiled wall recessed my switches too much. These were affordable and easy to install. Now the kitchen is complete.

There are no instructions, but there's only one way this box extender could go one. The plastic is really flimsy and the screws aren't long enough. I can't see how this would ever work. I bought some different extenders and they work simply and perfectly. Also, the box has a big "UL" stamped on it, but no additional information at all leading me to believe that this is likely a lie.
