There is nothing dainty or skimpy about these utensils. These are professional chef and kitchen items that will last literally several lifetimes. They are heavy metal and well made, polished so there are no sharp edges. I expected the handles to be just straight regular handles but they aren't, there is a very comfortable hand and finger place to grip these tools securely. They are just so beautiful I wish i had a place to hang them up because they deserve to be seen as well as used. I doubt I am every going to use any of my other utensils again after getting these. Highly recommended, even if you don't do a lot of cooking just the display of these utensils will impress others that you know your way around the kitchen, and know true quality.

This is a beautiful set of kitchen utensils. I love the mirror finish. They are heavy-duty and sturdy. I have been searching for a replacement for my large round slotted spoon which is stainless steel and no less than 30 years old, but the handle has melted so much it is almost useless. This set includes a round slotted spoon that is beautiful. The entire set is stainless steel and you can tell it is a quality set. There are holes at the end of each handle for hanging. They have some weight to them so won't fly out of your hand easily. The spatulas are a good size and easy to use. I have used all the utensils and am very happy with them. I use them in my stainless steel pans but I have used the spatulas in my non-stick and ceramic pans and they glide over the surface of the pans. I have put them all through the dishwasher a few times and they come out looking new. This is a wonderful set for an excellent price. This set is one of my favorite kitchen things. I am happy I had the opportunity to order these.
