If you're after a two-prong fork for carving, handling cooked meats for small household needs, you get a set of two here, with wooden handles, and they work very well for my roast meats. I like the wooden handles especially, natural feeling, and not hot to touch.

These work great. It's better to have forks of different lengths if you are trying to lift a hunk of something hot, because then you can use the longer fork to reach the bottom, while supporting the top with the shorter fork, then leverage the food up out of the oven or the coals. There are holes in the handles and a cord for hanging these forks. They've held up fine so far.

I've been wanting a carving fork with narrow tines. I had one for many years, but the wood handle finally gave out. I use it mostly cooking, to tun meat or poke for doneness. I've got a couple of forks that have much wider tines, they look nice but aren't nearly as useful.These are not fancy but comparable to my old one that lasted for several decades. The two forks are not a set, the wooden handles are different as is the shape and size. The differences don't point to different functionality although one is longer than the other. Its fine with me but don't look at these as being a "set". I've got two kitchens so one goes in each...All in all I'm pleased, especially considering the price, but they aren't fancy.
