This is handy to have in my shop. I just wish it was laser etched or engraved, as the stamped metal is very hard to read on some of them, especially for old-ish eyes.

I've been able to use this thread gauge a couple times now, and it's definitely a good thing to have on hand. It's perfect for figuring out what parts you need to get from the hardware store.My suggestions are to offer to pair it with its metric counterpart and to include a carrying case. I must confess that it was like having a floppy ninja star until I realized I could tighten the black nuts to keep the gauges from pivoting out willy nilly.I definitely recommend having one of these!

If you need to measure screw threads, you will need a gauge like this. For most folks, it won't be that often.The gauge has three sets of gauges in a triangular housing. There are three black nuts that loosen or tighten the gauges. I'd keep them all tight except for the set being used. With this tool you can measure from 4 threads per inch to 84 tpi. I find it's helpful to measure a screw with a bright light behind it. Honestly, anything smaller than 40 is tough for me.I tested several American screws and this gauge correctly identified them all. It's made of steel, not stainless, so keep it lightly oiled to prevent rust.

Love that this set is complete! I do however not like the legibility of the numbers on the guages. They are hard to read - but not impossible. 4 star as this is very handy to have at a great price

Ever almost break your brain trying to figure out what threas size/pitch a certain bolt/screw or nut is? You need one of these.This is for SAE sized hardware but they also male one for metric as well. I need that too.There's not much to this but boy is this a good thing to have.All stainless steel and won't take up much room in my toolbox. Should last practically forever.Outstanding deal and a great bargain. I highly recomment this.

Just what I needed to verify machine screw thread pitches! Very and gauge with way more threads than I will need, but very nice to have. I'll have to pick up a metric set to go with this.

Fairly straightforward thread checked. Imperial measurements, wide range of checkers. Tested on a few known threads i have no hand, all seem to be accurate which is what you would expect as a bare minimum from these types of tools.
