These chimney brush poles work very well. They are easy to screw together and take apart. I have a couple of fairly signficiant angle changes in my chimney, and these poles are easily bendable enough to conform to the angles, but sturdy enough not to break. Overall, I'm quite happy with them. No downsides that I have encountered.

I must not have read carefully enough in the description because I thought I was getting a set (like the one pictured). I have no prior experience in buying these and thought that because the picture was of a package of more than one rod I was getting more than one. The rod works and threads onto my attachments fine.

I can not recommend this product. The rods are not rigid enough to be truly effective when more than one is attached to the brush. The threaded ends are not clean are are difficult to piece together. One more product from China that is not worth the money.

you will have to slow down and read every detil....there is only ONE rod. foto leads you astray. i bought the extras i still needed at Lowes for less $$

So far i've only cleaned my chimney twice, but these rods seem durable, lightweight and easy to assemble. I love the fact that their not the old fiberglass style which i can remember getting splinters from.

The shafts have bits is sharp fiberglass that splinter and get in your hands were gloves!!
