Heavy duty aluminum. Seam very strong. We're larger then I thought they would be. Very versatile. Used to raise a door up to line hinges in place. Heavy solid wood door, no problem.

These are well built, high visibility and well just overall perfect. I don't know about the rasp itself however for a kicker these ROCK. I have used several different kickers - they are designed to easily slide in and grip with the foot, be it boot and/or sneaker. They are heavy and stay flat on the ground easily. Unlike some of the cheaper flat metal ones they are well balanced. They are a little heavier so keeping them on the belt all the time adds a fair amount of weight however when hanging drywall I drop it on the ground and kick it around the room as I go. Have 2 it makes it easier to always have one around, and with multiple people we just kick them from person to person without worrying about damaging them as they are WELL built. I still perfer a standard rasp as they are lighter on the tool belt but in a pinch this works and for a DIY this would work just fine without having 2 different tools. I think the value is truly there for these items, high visiblity is perfect easy to pickup and see on the flood being wood and/or concrete bright orange is easy to see. I keep my speed squares in the same color for that same purpose. Being able to kick it across the floor and have something drop on it and not worrying about damaging it dropping it is huge also. I will gladly drop it from my waist and use it unlike some of the others I have had.... GREAT product!!

Not much to say about these, pretty straightforward what they do. They perform their job correctly and are easy to use. The material seems to be good quality and I have no issues to report. 5/5

Out of the boxes these were heavier duty than I expected. I do limited drywall work and primarily bought these for solo door hanging. They didn’t disappoint. Perfect amount of rocker to get your non hinged side plumb to the jamb without squished toes or damaged boots. For many years I’ve used a small flathead trim bar and they work but get Squirrley. I remove, replace and install a lot of doors for painting and flooring jobs and these definitely make that task easier. 2 pack is great. One went in my painters tools and on in my carpenters box. Tested out the rasp briefly on a scrap piece of 5/8 drywall and it worked fine. Not as crisp and smooth as a dedicated drywall rasp but good enough for tune ups.

I wish I would have had these about a month ago when I started a renovation project - it would have helped me tremendously! It certainly helps a DIY'er that usually doesn't have a second set of hands to get that large piece of drywall in the right position, or help give some leverage. Plus, the rasp is very helpful. I usually use my utility knife, but that doesn't always give me the fastest or best results. I just started a new project, and they are worth their weight in gold! (And for me, the bright orange is a plus, because it stands out from the rest of my tools, and I can spot them easily!
