I had no idea these existed and they are a lifesaver for glass straws and chopsticks. Use it daily and no wear and tear shown. Dropped right into my dishwasher without any issues.

I find we're flipping this in and out of the dishwasher. Chopsticks and reusable straws tend to go through the bottom of the main flatware baskets in our dishwasher. It's also useful to have extra flatware space sometimes.This one fits the space perfectly -- that's a matter of your dishwasher, of course. They size is what the listing says, so measuring my dishwasher let me know this would fit. No "installation", you just drop it in. Since dishwashers vary, do measure your own, and compare the space to the listed dimensions of this basket.Run it a few dozen times now, no visible change, it's plenty sturdy for the job.

I have a new top brand dw, and while it does come with 2 very large utensil baskets, we needed more! Bought one, it fit perfectly, does not shift around, so I bought another! Not using it for chopsticks, just for additional forks and knives, but perfect for our needs and very sturdy. (My first one is a few years old, and is like new.)

Works great for cleaning straws in a Bosch dishwasher. The one that came with our dishwasher was too short and straws were being blown all over the place this works perfect you can even clean small items and there as well and what’s nice about it is it doesn’t take up too much space so you’ve still got plenty of room for everything else in your dishwasher.

I typically only have enough for a top rack load, but the handle on the basket that comes with my dishwasher is too high to put it on the top. Plus I usually only have a handful of silverware. This basket is perfect for my needs. It fits on the top and you can put a good bit of stuff in it. The holes on the bottom are also super small, so you could put straws in it without them falling through the bottom.

This is the product I never knew I needed! We have a local grocery store here that does sushi deals on Wednesdays and we typically will get sushi EVERY Wednesday, it has become our favorite day of the week. The problem however was when we did the dishes, our silverware cart in the dishwasher is not chop stick friendly. We would have to try to set the chopsticks in a certain way and certain angles in hopes they wouldn't fall through the holes and end up on the bottom of the dishwasher, and this was only about a 50% success rate. It was SO annoying always washing our chopsticks! I finally did a random search on google for dishwashing containers for chopsticks and this item popped up. With the price I was willing to give it a shot, and boy am I glad I did! Now I NEVER have to worry about my chopsticks sliding through the holes, and as an extra bonus my son drinks a lot of smoothies so we wash a lot of straws so this works great with our straws too. WAHOO! Best buy!

For some reason, my new dishwasher made my Samsung does not come with a basket that can hold chopsticks, this basket is well made, fit perfectly, and I never had to wash my chopsticks separately again.
