For years I'd been using cases where the drive slides in. The inside dimensions made it difficult to extract the hard drive when needed. Then those wimpy hinges broke off.Our new ones are durable, easy to open, and they handle well. With the flip of a latch, I can safely handle the HDD without my fingers touching sensitive electronic areas. Thank You!

These offer good protection and are great for storage but the latch has a tendency to pop open if you squeeze the case near it. That said, they are still a good value and good protection for your bare hard drives. Great stability when put on a shelf due to the nice, square edges and sides which also make them stable for stacking. Foam pads at strategic points inside the box keep the drive held solidly in place.

I save NAS and regular drives and they fit perfectly. I would still not drop them but they stack nicely for storage. I am always swapping with bigger drives.

Retired mainframe systems programmer (old dog same trick) still make annual archival data backups. Cases provide best price/performance seen yet. Well made for long term storage, come with labels, internal foam padded case.While cases are well made, seem light for rough shipping, suggest store case in bubble wrap before shipping.I will be buying more in future - thumbs up!

I have collected a bunch of drives from the era where drives increased in 500GB every few months and instead of DBANing them all and purchasing a bunch of externals to store my data on, I grabbed a hot swap bay and decided to keep them to store copies of my photos and things on them and needed a place to store when not in use. These are great! Stylish, come with labels, easy to store, and even come with protection foam on the inside to hold the drive in place and possibly protect it during transit. The only downside is that you can only order 1 set so if one breaks or I want to get more to match, I cannot. I highly recommend these cases to anyone who is looking for hard drive storage and doesn't want to just toss it in a anti-static bag in a drawer.

This is what I expected. Nice and simple but perfect for protecting Hard Drives from dust and damage to the electronics. I have a number of hard drives after going from a Mac Pro tower to an iMac in 2017. I had to buy a thunderbolt enclosure to accommodate them all. I still use the enclosure but I also have a Sabrent single drive dock - very useful. I can now mount any drive I need very quickly and these boxes keep all the drives safe on one of my shelves. No more plastic bags or naked drives. Highly recommend - great price.
