This is the OEM dipstick for the 2014 Dodge Durango. Replace it before overfilling oil kills your engine.Leave it to an American car company to install the wrong dipstick and the dealership doesn't replace it unless the car owner complains. I was out of warranty, so the dealership wouldn't replace it for free. Incredible! Apparently, they think they don't need to worry about competition. I'll need to think long and hard before buying an American made car again.

Didn't have to wait around weeks to receive it from the dealership. And I would not suggest going to an AutoZone type establishment to purchase this. You need an OEM part product such as this. Not some knock off

A lot (if not all) of 2011-2015 Jeep Grand Cherokees with the 5.7L Hemi V8 (and probably the same MY Dodge Durangos) came equipped with the wrong dipstick. It would be P/N 53034186AC. A proper 7 quart fill reads on the "add" mark on that dipstick. This dipstick (53034186AD) is the correct dipstick for these vehicles.EDIT Dec 2020: Had originally written this review for when I replaced the dipstick in my parents' 2013 Grand Cherokee. Recently bought my wife a 2013 Grand Cherokee 5.7 and had to come dig for this review to buy another dipstick because it still had the wrong dipstick.

This replacement unit fixes the inaccurate level readings of the OEM 5.7L unit. Something that Jeep should have replaced for free. Shame on them.

Many newer Durangos with the Hemi were sent from the factory with an incorrect dipstick that would read low despite the level being correct. This may or may not result in over-filling which may lead to blue smoke exiting exhaust after starting. 53034186AD is the correct number, and when compared to the incorrect dipstick (53034186AC if I remember correctly) the full mark is equal to the add mark. Easy swap and replace.

Actual OE part used to measure oil level. A lot of 2011-13 Grand Cherokee 5.7 came from the factory with the incorrect dip stick. It showed oil was low even when it’s at the correct level. This part corrects the issue.
