I had a bent grab hook on a short 6' section of chain and decided to replace with this to make rigging to straps easier and cleaner. Looks great and seems tough, but haven't loaded it up too much yet. Easy to install, good fit in both pins. Clean pin retention with the flush roll pin so there's no sharp pokey cotter pin ends to tear up your straps. The bright yellow will be great for not getting lost in the dirt.

I didn't read the reviews until after I pressed the buy button, and then worried it would be missing a part like many of the reviews.Thankfully, everything was there, and seems to be of high quality.I haven't tested it out yet, but forsee no problems

I was very pleasantly surprised - this item is extremely well made. I usually discard the flimsy keeper but THIS one is very well made and assembled so that it will work AND last. The clevis pin is unique - held in by a roller pin rather than a cotter key. Really happy with it.

Worked perfectly to turn my 3/8 tow chain into a decent logging chain as the slip hook allows a solid choke hold on the log.The product is supposed to have three parts in the packaging: 1.) the hook itself, 2.) the clevis pin which goes through the chain link, and 3.) a roll pin which goes through a purpose-cast hole in the hook and a matching hole in the clevis pin. This small roll pin just serves to hold the clevis pin in place.Would easily be a 5 star product, but mine was missing the roll pin to retain the clevis pin. Fortunately, I had a roll pin to fit in my shop, but I can't imagine it is something most folks have laying around. While a single roll pin is probably less than a dollar, the time it takes to go to the store and find one to fit is definitely not free. Quality control needs to be stepped up a bit as multiple reviews mention missing parts, so I'm just glad I got two out of three parts and had the other on-hand.
