This insert is nice, the head support is soft and fluffy. It came with extra head supports for smaller babies as well. We used this in our Britax car seat to bring baby home from the hospital. It was easy to install and our son looked comfortable. The colors were correct. I would recommend this for smaller preemie babies as is offers plenty of support. It can also be used in other things like swings, bouncers, and chairs so that’s a plus because our son is a month old now and this doesn’t work well in his car seat anymore but we use it in other things.

This is great for the short amount of time you have these wee ones in the car, but there are major safety requirements to keeps babies secured in their car seats. I would triple check where you live because there are laws. But it's not just for car seats and works great for strollers, swings and even just some floor cushion. The fabric design is so cute and it's reversible but they grow out of these so fast.
