I'm not sure what advantage you get using a non marine infinity amp. This marine amp is great! I have it set up as 4x70w @ 4 ohms with my 2 sets of infinity reference component speakers along with the out put rca's going to a 300w powered sub by rockford fosgate. The input ofc copper twisted pair RCA jacks connect to 2 ofc copper y splitters going to 1 set of rca out jacks on a KICKER KEY LOC Smart Line Output Converter, to the speaker wires coming out of the factory stereo that i can't replace due to touch screen. I get some serious volume out of my system, inside my car. Outside of my car with the doors closed, i honestly don't think it is going to bother most people. Unless they work a drive through speaker...Great quality sound. If i were to do it all again, considering i bought a Key Loc for my stock stereo, I might just buy a kicker key amp 50w x 4 @ 4 ohms or maybe buy 2 of them and an active crossover possibly and ditch the passive crossovers that come with the component speakers. I might opt for the infinity kappa speakers as well. I'd also consider an infinity KAPPA Amplifier, and Kappa Speakers with the Kicker Key LOC depending on the total price of all pieces. This is a SATISFACTORY upgrage from my Kia Soul 22' stock (non harmon kardon...well it is now lol but 4k cheaper) stereo. I can actually make it loud enough i want to turn it down with the windows up. Windows down, i can go loud enough to clip the signal and want just a bit more ya know!? If you want your friends, family and passers by to enjoy, not enjoy YOUR music, i'd probably go with the infintiy kappa amp, speakers and make sure to get at least the max wattage of the Kappa speakers ( you can turn amp down a smidge). The Kia Soul does not have a lot of options if any for aftermarket Alternators, so that was one of my limitng factors running a 400w amp and a 300w powered sub. 700 w total is a good time, but if i ever upgrade more and find a aftermarket alternator to handle it, I would definitely run 600-800w of amp(s) for just the stereo speakers. SO for most people not trying to piss off the neighbors, but getting the feeling that maybe you are causing a few Karens to grunt weird even though its unlikely, this is a good amp for your system. It will make you feel cool, but in all likelihood Your crush will hop in that Charger Hellcat much quicker than in your whip. But you will at least enjoy your music while she speeds off with doosh rocket that guy you weren't supposed to worry about. IF you don't want that, i'd probably go with a little more wattage to tick off the neigborhood :)

I'm not a mobile audio expert by any stretch of the imagination. I bought this to replace a CHEAP replacement amp (that had constant buzzing) that I bought to replace the blown high-end amp in my boat. Boat electronics can be a nightmare, and I thought I had a bad ground with the CHEAP amp, due to the noise. I spent hours searching and trying to remedy the issue before finally giving giving up and buying this amp after the cheap one started to severely rust after a few weeks. This is also much better "sealed" for the marine environment than the CHEAP amp or prior high-end amp. Initially delivered amp had no output in the front left speaker, returned and reordered through AZ w/o issue.
