I picked this mat because my daughter was very frustrated with regular tummy time and I didn't feel like she was getting enough so I decided to give a mat a try.She liked it straight away and it's helped her enjoy tummy time, still doesn't like more than 10 minutes at a time, but she tolerates it way more now. She likes trying to get the foam figures in the water, but they often stick and I have to get them loose for her.This mat does smell, it's a strong chlorine smell which is strange. It also doesn't inflate as much as it shows in the product picture. In the picture it's a perfectly smooth outer square but in reality, no matter how much I fill it with air, it folds in itself in some areas. However, that's not a deal breaker for me since my daughter now enjoys tummy time.I would recommend this for the value, but don't expect it to be perfecy. My mom purchased a tummy time mat for her house and it's a barn and has barn animals. I wished I would have seen that one because it's very cute and had no inflation problems!

Bought this for my 6mo and she really loves it .the quality of mat is good and there is absolutely no smell of the material used . The size is good and definitely a good value for money . My LO can spend a lot of time on it . It helps developing motor skills . A good buy for sure .
