The material appears to be the same as similar steam models that I have tried and continue to use — strong, waterproof and good insulation — way less to do to get a good sweat — once set up you just plug the controller in (recommended to unplug after use, dashes displayed on the hand control when off and plugged in) and push the power button, then set and forget — the control is not backlit so without a light source you have to feel for the correct buttons — heats up quickly — you can feel the heat all at once immediately — it is like stepping out into the sun on a clear day or into a hot car in the summer — the heat of course is dry and totally wraps around your body — I started sweating heavily in the 1st 10 minutes (in an infrared Sauna blanket it took an hour on high to start sweating) — the foot pad heats evenly and quickly — all the electrical stuff is hard wired — nothing to plug in but the main electrical cord — all of the wires that you can see are flexible and and lay flat — you have to add your own lighting if you don’t want to sit in the dark or see the buttons on the control — the buttons are not backlit — the chair is on the shorter side and has to be moved close to the front if you don’t want to lean back on the heated panels — the bottom of the window is at eye level when sitting (I am 5’10â€) — this unit is a little different than others in that the heat panels are already installed but can be accessed inside big zippered pockets that are mesh — I din’t think they are removable and didn’ try — the pad that fits on the bottom has a waterproof rubberized top surface and a anti-slip ruff Velcro-ish buttom — with the steam versions you have to deal with the steam pot, have condensation all over including the windows so a lot more to wipe down including the water that accumulates on you skin mixing with the sweat — with this you only have the sweat to deal with — now having tried a steam version and a Sauna blanket, which I still have, I for sure recommend this “portable†Sauna inclosure — it is just so easy and quick to get the results you want — just figure out your lighting and no you don’t get a red glow like the product discription page shows — Far Infrared is an invisible light frequency — book recommends a max of 30 min per day 3 times per week

It's advertised for 149 degrees, but I can't get it above 124. I've even insulated it and added a regular heater at turn on the help increase the heat, but no luck. The infrared heaters appear like they can get hotter, but are likely prevented from doing this by the thermostat. Material feels and look goods. If it could even get to 140, it would be a great portable heater.

It’s great. Super duper great until you realize that you’re the hot stone that is causing all the humidity!Relatively easy to put together (lots of parts) and it’s made pretty well, too. Definitely recommend this unit.

This sauna is so cool! I am going to break my review down into pros and cons with a separate section for safety.Pros:- Roomier then you expect it to be, even with the chair inside.- Tall enough to be used by pretty much everyone.- Clear plastic windows keep you from feeling claustrophobic- Digital display on the controller makes it easy to operate- Despite the controller being corded, there is a pocket right outside the door that keeps it in easy reach.Cons:- You don't need any tools to put it together which means it relies on gravity to keep the frame together. This makes wrapping the cover around it incredibly frustrating.-The heat is generated on the walls and they get HOT so avoid touching them when you are inside.Safety:-The power cord is grounded.-Double sided zippers make it easy to exit quickly.-The windows can also be unzipped for airflow if needed.-Timed shutoff

I was super skeptical when I opened the box. A pipe metal frame and a black fabric box. There’s no way this thing isn’t going to collapse. I WAS WRONG. This sauna went together in about 5 minutes. The poles are well labeled and screwed together easily. The fabric fits perfectly. It was nice to have a second pair of hands to put it together, but it would definitely be a doable one person project. It’s well engineered and sturdy. It heats up quickly and was plenty warm to sweat. The wired remote is intuitive and usable even in the dark. It feels a little claustrophobic, especially with the chair taking up most of the space, but my friends inform me that’s normal. It’s a great and affordable entry level dry sauna.

Poles kept falling apart when putting together. . Not sturdy - very flimsy but once cover on ok. When putting the cover on we ripped a corner. Also no foot pad was included. It does heat nicely but without foot pad we do not have complete purchase.

Wow, it really works well. My wife says she would like it just a touch hotter, but for me it's perfect. It doesn't take long for it to get hot. This is not a simple steam room; it's a sauna where the walls and footpad are heated; this one is a serious upgrade. Setup and take down is super easy and it feels solid. It's made to be used by one person, and it's surprisingly roomy. However, I was able to set it up with 2 small camping chairs so that both my wife and I could use it at the same time. It's tight but we don't mind. It works great; we love it.

The Ouluu Infrared Portable Dry Sauna feels to be of decent quality, it comes with a folding chair. The poles are labeled with stickers and assembly is not too challenging. The heating elements are already connected, so all that is needed is plugging into the outlet. The "wall" material feels nice, and the zipper window can zip and unzip from inside and outside, other than ventilation if needed, it lets some light in from outside. The dry heat feels good and makes clean-up easier.Precautions, cautions, and warnings are clearly indicated in the manual. Recommends a session for no more than 30 minutes and no more than 3 times a week.
