Starting with the only reasons this isn't a 5 star product:1. It isn't inkless - now, it IS setup so the ink never touches skin (you press the hand/foot on the plastic backing of an ink pad to use the pressure to apply the ink to paper on the front), but there is still ink. This doesn't bother me (I use fountain pens - I love ink) but it might throw you off given the name.2. The little included frames don't come with anythibg to seal down their side once you slide the print in - given it comes with all kinds of other stuff (magnet mounts, clips, stickers for decorating), that seems like an obvious thing to have included to me.Still, it is an EXCELLENT little kit. Ebough to make two framed prints and some extra sheets if you make a mistake. Easy to do, lots of extras for decorating when done if that's your bag, and produces a very nice looking print. Would make a great gift for new parent or use the finished product as a gift for a grandparent or godparent.Don't wait until the baby is more than a few months old, though - newborn is best, because while it isn't small, it isn't huge either and so if you have babies with bigger feet, they'll eventually not fit.Oh, and if you screw up, the ink washes off easily. Not that I did (I did), but in case you do (you won't, its REALLY easy to so it right if you pay attention at all - I got distracted by a second kid, as one does).

I really love this hand/foot print kit. It's so simple and mess free without having to put your little ones hands or feet in ink to get their print on paper. It does take a little patience with a small baby, but once you figure it out it's not too hard. Gives you a nice print on paper and no mess to clean up when you're done.

Adorable set, well put together and good value.It comes with not just the ink and the paper, but also the frames, stickers to decorate and magnets to attach it to your refrigerator.Extremely easy to use, but you have to be careful when you open the ink pad, not to touch it unless intended otherwise the ink will attach to anything.Great for babies and any child, or pet, that can fit their hands, feet, or paws, on the ink pad and onto the paper.

Our family got 2 new additions within the last six months. One boy and one girl. I got this hand and footprint kit so that my brother and sister could each have their baby’s prints. This kit does not disappoint and has everything you need to make keepsakes. My sister framed hers but I'm not exactly sure what my brother did with his yet.It was very easy and straightforward to use. This is a no ink kit and it essentially works like a piece of carbon transfer paper. You have these black sheets that have ink on one side but on the other side, there's no ink. It's on the no-ink side that your baby puts their hands and feet to press down onto the paper. Somehow it ends up transferring the exact footprint or handprint without ever getting your baby dirty. I would recommend doing this while your baby is sleeping because it’s awfully hard to do it while they’re awake. I'm amazed at the clarity of the prints considering the baby's foot is on the other side of the ink stamp, but it is.I would highly recommend this kit and I think it would make a great baby shower gift.

Such a lovely item to have. It's such a mess-free simple way to make a keepsake. While I domt have human babies, this is perfect for my fur babies. I plan to get a paw tattooed on me and this method is the easiest way I've found to record their paw shape.

This is a good set for getting a baby's prints. The ink pads are pretty heavy on the ink, so the first set of prints are usually just solid. I did a second print and while it was lighter, it also had more details. The frames and stickers included in this set are a nice touch to make the prints more memorable.
