I recently went to a retirement party and could not cool down for the life of me. A lady let me use her foldable fan, and I immediately went home to buy one of my own. These were such a great price, and are so gorgeous. My favorite is the black- the gold embroidery looks much more expensive than it is- and really adds to your outfit.The fans themselves are lightweight , easy to fold, dont collapse in on themselves while in use- and gets some serious wind behind them. I keep the black one in my purse all the time and pull it out when needed- probably one of my most essential items in my purse now. These would be great to add to welcome bags for destination weddings, and are cheap enough you can get one in every color to match every outfit of you wanted to. I was surprised at the quality of these for the price. I’ve used fans like this in the past and they either had too much unnecessary embellishment that restricted airflow, or were awkward to hold because they would fold into themselves within seconds- these have plenty of beautiful detail without rendering them non-functional

I go to a lot of outdoor concerts and it is always really hot in crowds. I love having a fan. I like that these come in multiple colors so I can match with my outfits ;) and they have little rings on the ends so you can use a carabiner clip and clip them right to your purse/bag, whatever. They've held up pretty well for me, I've used them all summer- lots of shows! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because one did fall apart at a show- but a guy was using it...lol. I didn't care, you get so many for your money! Worth it.

Very strong chemical smell when opened. After that, the fan worked as it should but they are quite flimsy. I found a pouch to keep mine in from a small comb, should slow the expected rate of wear and tear from handling giving its so thin. Still, it does work and the one side the design is on is actually pretty. Works in a pinch. Not quiet as heavy as the ones I get from the beauty supply store.

With the hot weather we have had this summer these have been very useful. They are beautiful and look very nice for instance when I go to church and am dressed up. Just getting from the parking lot to inside at my seat the heat gets to me and I use this instead of the bulletin. I have given a few of these to friends when I see them fanning themselves.
