I didn't want to get rid of our classic California King waterbed, but our 60% waveless was getting annoying with one person's movement sending a jostle wave to the other. This dual mattress was the perfect solution. Additional benefit, with the second (InnoMax B00AXT5H42) heater, we each control our own temperature. In the photo the one mattress is over-filled. We later adjusted so that both are flush with the top of the wooden rails.Day three there is still minor "new car smell" gassing off. But that will resolve over time. I'm a fan of waterbeds: no mites and stains can get in the mattress. I like it toasty 90F in winter, then cool in summer. Don't know why they aren't more popular.

This is the most comfortable bed ever. I can get in and out without disturbing my wife. We had a purple 3 bed and gave it up for this one. Absolutely love this bed. Never going back to a conventional bed EVER.
