This works well but is a little thinner wires than I expected for 2 amps. I checked with my meter. I had 122v at the plug and 12.1 at the end of this. I really like the plug adaptor as well

Ordered these to replace my Christmas yard inflatables power supplies. They worked fine although one failed within a week, but the rest held in there. I could complain but for the price I'm not going to.

I have bought at least 5 of these over the last year or 2 because all of the cheap Chinese grow lights come with cheap adapters that quit after a few months.

This is a quality 12V - 2A power supply with a connector for wire leaded equipment. I was working on a home project that had only wire leads for hooking up power. I was near the point of exhaustion looking through thousands of look-alike power supplies on Amazon when I finally hit pay dirt.I was about to give up and buy a power supply and cut off the connector to expose the wire leads for the hookup, when I found this one. Instead of using some kludge to solve the problem, this power supply has a nifty jack to wire connection adapter. You plug in the power supply to 120VAC, plug the output jack into the adapter and connect your wires to the adapter. It takes a very small screwdriver to reach the screws.It also takes a good set of eyes to see the "+" and "-" identifiers on the adapter. They are very tiny and it might be advisable to use a voltmeter to double check the polarity if there is the least doubt.There is a down side that doesn't affect anything in particular: In general, I'm not familiar with all the power supply output jacks available, but the one on this supply LOOKS a little different from most that I've noticed. It might not be compatible with sockets you are already using, and I don't know how you'd ever find a match for it.All I can say is that it saved me a bunch of trouble and at a little over $7, it is a bargain for those who need to connect wires to a power supply rather than through connectors, this is a best buy. I give thanks that I managed to find it, and 5 stars for professionally solving my problem.

I had this power supply used for my LES lights, and after one day, stopped functioning. It would flicker the lights, and then shut off when we would plug and unplug it.Avoid this as it’s a fire danger.

mine failed 6 months into ownership. the power output dramatically decreased. when I compared it to another one it looks like there is a short inside where it is causing the output current to drop dramatically. unplugged it and threw away for safety, but it worked well until that point.
