Bought this to power a 24vdc gear motor. So far it’s working great. Great price for the quality.

I measured and this PS puts out the adtvertised power. Time will tell if it is durable. I will change this review if it turns out to be faulty, but I expect it will last. I have had it running for 3 days non-stop now and it still delivers the power advertised. If you want to save a few $'s this looks like a good bet.

I have been working on a project for about a month now and went to finally fire it up for the first time today, but I have an outgoing voltage of less than a single volt. I missed the return window because I have been building the project and didn’t expect this part to fail! So disappointed right now!

I put this unit in a cabinet to power a actuator to raise a TV up and down. It runs through a remote control unit and does the job.

This unit does what it says, except that the fan is really noisy. It's not really all that close to a mid-grade case fan. I'm either going to find a replacement (it's a 16v fan (who uses those?), or build a baffle to quite the noise made.Or buy a new power supply that doesn't have this issue.

I purchased this from Amazon as a returned open box item, for use with AC to DC to power an iSDT Q8 charger at 24v @ 20a. Wired it up and have since charged from the Q8 powered by this unit two 3S LiPo 5200mAh packs connected in parallel and charging at a 2C rate (20A) and the power supply cruised through it, from 3.3v per cell to a fully charged 4.2v per cell in about 38 minutes. The power supply didn't miss a beat. I wouldn't try this with 6S or 8S packs in parallel like this, as the power supply is right at the edge of the charger's 24v 20a 500w capability, but 3 and 4S packs shouldn't be an issue.

I have a ChillPad water-cooled mattress chiller, which is seven years old and no longer supported. The power supply burnt out (literally, burned out) so I took apart the unit, and saw that this particular power supply was available on Amazon. Ordered the replacement, and it was a near-perfect fit; just a few mm (about 1/8 inch) thicker than the original, and was able to modify the appliance case to fit the new power supply. Now happily chilling my mattress as before.

For the review saying it reads 14v... I think you accidentally set your volt meter to AC, because if you do that it will show 14v, but if you set it to DC, it will show 24v. In all fairness you should try that and update your comment. Works great btw.

The unit seem to deliver 24V just fine but the fan is far from quiet in spite of the labeling saying that it only runs when hot.

Easy to connect. The line voltage input terminals are not very well protected and could present a shock hazard if handled carelessly. The voltage selector switch is hidden inside, but it came set to 120V, so no problem for North Americans. Be sure to order a model with more-than-enough wattage--at least 25% more than you will ever need would be wise.

A stable and accurate Ac to DC power supply.
