I love that this little accessory (that admittedly should have been built into the device already) allows you to charge the device while still using the new provided 3.5 mm jack for microphones. You obviously need to keep the original door in a safe place and replace it if you go under water as this accessory takes away the ip rating.In the end, this is plug and play and works flawlessly.

Using this to connect my 7ryms dw30 wireless off camera mic system.Works perfectly, mic sounds awesome and the only anak complaint would be with this installed you can not remove micro sd card unless this is removed. Not tough but another step.

No dislikes. Added small microphone and a dead cat. Works perfectly on my helmet when skiing or riding my EUC. Great idea adding the USB-C port to outside for ease if charging.

Yeah this is the official Insta360 branded piece and there seems to be no mechanical reason they HAD TO build it like this, they just chose to. So you have to physically remove the door over the sd card and usb port in order to connect this part and then the USB pass through is power only, not data. So if you want to get your video files off you have to unplug this first before accessing the SD card or USB port.Removing either the door or the mic adapter is a "snap" and we all know that plastic snap connectors don't last forever when they get used frequently eventually the plastic gives up. That is a certainty with this if you use the camera frequently.This can't be on accident, nobody misses easy targets like this on accident. Zero stars.

roPPoco que decir, cumple con su cometido, poder enchufar un micro de clavija jacket. Cuando se conecta a la cámara hay que asegurarse de que ha encajado bien .
