A solid 360 camera with free editing software. I've been using it to capture memories and be able to sit in a space using my VR headset... especially of hangouts with loved ones, for when they're no longer around. This makes me an observer in a virtual space, but is not a virtual reality camera

This camera looks and appears to function as a brand new camera. I had bought an x3 new a while back and sold it because I no longer had a kayak where I would use it, now I have a kayak again and missed getting 360 footage so I got this refurbished model. It didn’t have a single blemish and came with the protective film still installed. It appears to work fine but I’ve yet to test it out on the water. If I don’t update this review, then all is well! Very happy to save some money with this refurbished model. I had no problem registering it the the app on my phone.

Received in excellent condition and was able to activate it without issue.Package was sealed and all the factory stickers still on it and on the X3.Looks like this camera was never opened.Very very happy with my purchase so far

If you get a renewed camera from Amazon that was previously activated by another user, Insta360 will NOT activate this camera. Their technical support will tell you SORRY BUT THEY CAN'T HELP YOU. You will NOT be able to use the iOS or Android software. You will be able to use the Windows or Mac software though!
