Very sturdy and durable but still possible to bend to your liking. Worked great for my Honda Element tweeter project. Used pliers to bend all the way down.

I used these to replace some failed supports for a roof fan and used a much higher-grade stainless nut/bolt/lock washer combination on the shell. The original straps appear to have corroded chiefly at the flex point (see photo). I'm hoping these backstraps last much longer and fare better than the original lackluster, cheap Chinese metal.

These are very similar to those that came withe accessories installation kits of years ago, I still have one to compare. Although they are not cad plated and a little filing may be required for a smooth edge. Otherwise a good find.

I use these for many different things around the house but making brackets to mount things is by far my top use for these. They can be cut with snips and the material is sturdy enough to last through many installations/removals. These are something that I always have available and I'm always finding new uses for them. Recommended.

A review here said this has 3/8 inch holes, which is why I bought them. They are not 3/8 inch holes. 3/8 inch screw is too large. Not the product's fault so I gave it a 5, as they are what Amazon said they are.

These are very sturdy, and the holes are 3/8" which is a good size bolt to fasten it down.
