I use this wire to ground my RF antenna setup from the mast that's on my roof. I use a 30 foot run (about 9.5m). The connection is well waterproofed at the mast. It was connected to copper plumbing that happened to be at the side of the house, and then another 3 foot (1m) run to a ground rod in the dirt. The wire is connected at the copper pipe with a wire connector and this was sloppily taped up. After about 2.5 years you can see the aluminum completely disintegrated into dust. The fine strands in the wire are not helpful to slow corrosion. The insulation on the wire is holding up very well.I would recommend this wire for grounding, but make sure you fully and properly waterproof tape your joints.

Love the product wires. Great use it in my car. I got sub wolfers, amps. The Wire's nice and thick. Great price. Still use this day.

I needed a minimum of 2 AWG wire to create interconnects between batteries in a large bank. If you note, these say 1/0 Gauge, not AWG. What is 1/0 Gauge? Who knows, it's fake. Meaningless, because it is not standardized so you have no clue what you are getting.What did I get for my 1/0 Gauge wire? Something that was in between 1 and 2 AWG (closer to 1). This was perfect for my needs because I knew darn well how big to order when they say gauge instead of AWG.As a rule of thumb: If they as gauge, order 3 - 4 sizes larger than you need in AWG. This will always net you larger wire than you need but I have never had it net me wire smaller than I needed.At the price I got it for during prime days, it was a steal for 2 AWG wire, so I win!I hope you found this helpful!
