To ensure your Instant Pot cooker continues to perform as it is meant to only use Instant Pot authentic sealing rings with your Instant Pot cooker. It is recommended to replace your Instant Pot sealing ring every 12-18 months. To avoid discoloration and odors, one may wish to change the sealing ring every 6-12 months. Instant Pot sells quality items, to grow their customer base and keep people coming back to buy more products. Instant Pot is a Canadian Company, based in Toronto.During my online search, it became clear that too many buyers were having problems with the silicon sealant ring knock-offs that they had purchased. The rings didn’t fit properly, they had industrial smells that came off on the foods they cooked, or they had other problems. Some knock-offs needed to be boiled first before they could be inserted and used!Note: I own 3 Instant Pots – no knock-offs/ copy-cats. Even though I bought 2, 2-packs (for a total of 4 rings) for my 2 8-Qt. models, I have peace of mind in knowing that all 4 rings have been expertly engineered for fit and long-time durability, and if I need assistance, I can contact IP directly and they will work with me to correct any problem that I encounter – IPs or rings.I am not a gambler – especially with this type of seller environment (with all types of different manufactured rings), and I wanted rings that would fit just like the original rings that come with each IP. Because of that, I paid more for these IP-copyrighted rings especially because these rings are an integral part to the successful operation of my IPs.In other words, if a seal doesn’t work, the IP doesn’t work, and foods that have been prepared can’t be made. It’s that simple.5* for these rings (and our wonderful IPs into which we insert them)!

I was extremely relieved to see my instantpot sealing properly again. If your ring is old and you've cleaned and checked all the parts they tell you to, buy this -and cross your fingers.

Fits my 8 qt instapot well, affordable, and have no issues. Needed replacements since cooking some meals have permanently scented one of my sealing rings (thus I got spicy yogurt 😵â€ðŸ’«). And yes I did clean and soak the crap out of that ring. Now I have to make sure I separate neutral, savory, and sweet sealing rings.

The silicone sealing rings for the instant pot will stretch out over time and you will know immediately when it's time to replace when steam start to escapes from the pot's lid when it reaches pressure. These replacement rings hold up well and fits perfectly. I have no issue with them, and actually think they are better than the one that came with the instant pot. For the price, it's a great deal.

Fits perfect. You must replace when the ring turns color or smells. It’s very easy to pop in. It’s the same size as the original.
