Product worked fine after I drilled out the mounting holes to a larger diameter that allowed the manifold to line up with the cylinder.

For the money I'm good making it work but will have to file bolt holes to make it fit as many reviews have mentioned.

The bolt holes do not line up. Being that you’re tightening into an aluminum head, it would be very easy to cross thread and make a mess. I had to drill the holes bigger. Also, the o ring is too big for the groove. So it’s a pain to get it to stay in unless you use a gasket maker to glue it in.

Did not fit my 2006 Kodiak 450 YFM45FAV.Good quality but fitting description is off.Ordered this because my Kodiak would only run on full choke and backfiring so suspected engine intake air leakage. When it was running I sprayed carburetor cleaner around the OEM boot and engine revved up.Tight getting this new boot installed with same results. Turned out to be the Pilot Jet was plugged. Cleaned carb and put the OEM boot back on, back to normal running. I lubed the mounting O-ring on installation and no longer have revving when spraying carb cleaner in this area.The part number on this matched the OEM but was almost 2mm less on the aluminum intake diameter and mounting holes.Rubber boot to carburetor fit fine.Return process was exceptional.
