It says plastic but it has such a glossy finish it does not look like plastic. I think it is the perfect size to hold trash for the bathroom. The trash can is lightweight which is better for me but is durable. You won't have any problem finding a place for it in your bathroom.

Quality material & nice density that keeps its shape as you grab it. Nice shiny surface. Doesn’t look cheap. Happily surprised. Perfect if you need a bigger trash can that you won’t miss when tossing things into it. Man sized trash can for bathroom that fits tight in the corner.

Redecorating my bathroom, this cobalt blue wastebasket is perfect. The color is deep and looks more expensive than it is. I am also very pleased with the customer service. The first can came with one side completley broken out. I was concerned that this was a cheap made can, I reported right away that I wanted a replacement. A new can was sitting at my front door the very next day and it was perfect. I really never expected a replacement that fast. I'm please with this perchase and how they wanted to get this order corrected as soon as possible.

It's rather rare to find products made in the USA these days and when it's actually a high quality piece it's always a nice surprise.Do be careful to check for cracks and chips. The first one I got had damages from shipping. I can't blame the manufacturers for this problem because Amazon just didn't put in any bubbles whatsoever.It's a nice sturdy little bin.Care tip: Since this is glossy you can buff out any scratches with some plastic polish (comes in a bottle). It's a handy thing for shiny plastics that are more prone to show blemishes.

Sturdy. it had a bit of weight to it, more than a regular trash can, so it is not flimsy. Fits perfectly between the toilet and vanity.
